Breakfast: one of the most important meals of the day!
Option #1: Green Smoothie. This is the perfect way to start the day and really boost your immune system! Your body has feasted throughout the night and the fruit which digest super-fast have vitamins and minerals which will quickly and easily be absorbed into your system. This contains 12 grams of fiber, and is so good for you! Try it out for 1 week and you will be surprised at how good this tastes and makes you feel.
In your blender: 2 Cups of greens (Spinach or lettuce) + 3 frozen or fresh fruit that you love (can be frozen mangos or bananas for a creamy texture, apples, pears, peaches, grapes etc.). Blend with cold water until smooth.
Option #2: Oatmeal with cinnamon and fruit. If you are still hungry, or don’t like the green smoothie (after you tried it out a couple of times!) you can go with good-old oatmeal with unsweetened almond milk, honey, blueberries, bananas and cinnamon. This is the next-best option for a light breakfast which digests perfectly on an empty stomach.
Option #3: Whole wheat bread with avocado, lemon juice, tomato, salt and pepper. This is a fresh, satisfying breakfast, with tons of vitamins and antioxidants.
